Name, email, phone number, account credentials, vehicle license plate and type, and other registration data.
2.2 Vehicle Information
License plate and vehicle information collected via Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) or similar systems, including date, time, and location of parking.
2.3 Device & Technical Information
Device identifiers, IP address, cookies, pixels, beacons, mobile advertising IDs, browser type, operating system, and other technical identifiers.
2.4 Biometric Information
Facial geometry or other biometric data captured through cameras at parking facilities or offices where facial recognition technology is deployed. See Biometric Information Notice below.
2.5 Location Data
Precise geolocation of your device if you grant permission.
2.6 Financial & Payment Information
Payment details processed via third-party payment providers; we do not store full card data on our servers.
2.7 Usage & Interaction Data
Browsing activity, interactions with our websites or apps, search history, survey responses, reviews, and other user-generated content.
2.8 Audio/Visual Information
Video, audio, and photographic records of your vehicle, parking session, or interactions at facilities.
2.9 Professional / Employment Data
Resume, application materials, and personal data collected at job fairs or conferences.
2.10 Inferences
Insights derived from your activity, preferences, and other collected data.
3. How We Collect Personal Data
We collect data in three ways:
- Directly from you: Account creation, surveys, purchases, emails, customer support, or app interactions.
- Automatically: Cookies, tracking pixels, mobile identifiers, website logs, and ALPR systems.
- From third parties: Business partners, hotels, data analytics providers, advertising networks, and payment processors.

Your data may be transferred outside the EU, for example to servers in the USA. Transfers are safeguarded via Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other legally recognized safeguards.
8. Retention of Personal Data
PayParq retains personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements, except where otherwise specified below.
- Account and member data: Account information, including login credentials, vehicle registration, payment history, user preferences, and related membership data, may be retained indefinitely for the purposes of account management, historical reference, dispute resolution, auditing, and internal recordkeeping.
- ALPR data: 90 days for paid customers, 5 years for unpaid citations.
- Biometric data: Until initial purpose is fulfilled or 3 years after last interaction.
- Other personal data: As required to comply with law or internal policies.
Financial and payment data is stored in accordance with legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Data processed via third-party providers is subject to their retention policies. PayParq regularly reviews personal data to ensure it is accurate and up to date. Data that is no longer needed for its intended purpose is securely deleted or anonymized, except for account and member data which may be retained indefinitely as described above.
9. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the following rights under EU law:
- Access & Portability: Request a copy of your personal data.
- Correction: Correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion / Right to be forgotten: Request data deletion.
- Restriction of processing: Limit how your data is used.
